The role of the Honorary Consul is to seek to strengthen relations between Bulgaria and Northern Ireland in the fields of education, trade and economic relations, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, tourism and other common interests.
The main goal of the diplomatic mission in Edinburgh is to provide adequate, timely, professional consular services, to support the Bulgarian communities, to assist the schools, to build together and create with the compatriots a small Bulgaria far from the Fatherland.The Honorary Consul is based locally in Northern Ireland to support the communities in this country.
